Trauma

Have you had experiences of…

  • growing up in a family where emotional/ physical violence or neglect were the norms?

  • sexual assault or abuse?

  • unrepaired relationship ruptures?

  • feeling constantly misunderstood?

  • feeling shut down or disconnected from yourself or others?

  • feeling anxious, on edge, or unable to relax?

  • feeling sad, angry, or upset without always knowing why?

  • not being able to stop reliving old memories or traumatic experiences?

Imagine being able to…

  • feel like it was safe to just be present in with your emotions and fully in your own body

  • connect in a real way with the people you care about

  • feel grounded and able to show up for the things that matter to you

  • relate to yourself in a caring and compassionate way

  • respond to difficult situations with clarity and confidence

  • engage with feelings of joy, creativity, and pleasure

  • access feelings of calm and relaxation

  • trust in your ability to make the best choices for yourself

For those of us who have experienced trauma it can be hard to feel fully present and in control of day-to-day experiences. Feeling calmer, more confident, and in control of how you move through your life is possible. In my therapy practice, I use a blend of holistic and somatic approaches to best meet the needs of each individual I work with in a warm, genuine, and relational way. Together we’ll work toward healing and helping you feel a sense of wholeness.
